Successful separation of polar substances - RP? - HILIC? - Carbon?
Thursday, 27th October, 2022, 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM CEST.
The analysis of polar substances is becoming increasingly important but presents a particular challenge in HPLC. The "universal column" C18 is only suitable to a limited extent for the HPLC separation of polar and hydrophilic substances. This presentation will clarify the different techniques such as HILIC as well as the advantages and limitations of the various stationary phases suitable for the separation of polar compounds in order to facilitate the selection of the most suitable phase for the individual separation problem.
